The Victorian era featured very curved furniture that focused on the elegance of wood working in homes. I was inspired by this and applied it to a modern bed set. The bed set features Victorian aspects but also holding value of our modern time with simplicity. The bed has a thick foam head board made of linen that flows with the shape and nice features of the wood. The set comes also with a nightstand and a lamp. The night stand has a cut out that mirrors the top details of the headboard and a glass inlay on the top of the table. The lamp is more organic in shape for a sculpture piece that stands out beautifully on its own. The lamp also features a usb port so the user can charge their phone or other devices while resting in bed, without having to worry about finding an outlet.
